UPDATE: Paul Manafort has resigned as a senior adviser to the Trump campaign amid unfolding stories concerning his lobbying ties to pro-Russian groups in Ukraine.

In his first major campaign speech since a shakeup of his advisory team, the GOP candidate expressed “regret” at not choosing the right words, “particularly where it may have caused personal pain.” He was not specific about exactly which words he was regretful.
Politico called the speech “one of the most comprehensive, on-message rationales for his candidacy to date.”
