End game for IS in Mosul?

Amid warnings of  potential humanitarian crisis, Iraqi and Kurdish forces, with support from the US, Britain and France, are converging on the second city of Mosul in northern Iraq, in what could prove to be a decisive battle with IS occupying forces.
