Knowing my own kids, my former stepkids, your kids, their friends and their generation, I’m also hopeful of a world with less hate and more love, less anger and more understanding, less selfishness and more collective action. But it will take hard work. And it will take people to want those things instead of wanting just what serves themselves. Thanks for your work, Mr President.
That’s not to say everything was perfect…
And so, we all prepare for a different world.
