Lights in the darkness

As thousands of people gathered at vigils across the US and around the world to pay tribute to those killed in the Orlando shooting, the UN for the first time condemned an attack on people because of their sexual orientation.

Meanwhile – unsurprisingly – the political fallout continues…

President Obama will visit Orlando on Thursday.

Another attack – reportedly also inspired by ISIS – happened in France, when a man stabbed a senior police officer and his wife. Authorities said the attacker had posted video of the incident on Facebook.

As if the French police didn’t have enough on their plate.

Pretty much the housing problem in one graph. Widening disconnect between home prices and earning power.

Finally, RIP Henry McCullough.

This solo, though, man… one for the ages.
