Several killed in Berlin truck ‘attack’

There are three major stories breaking late on Monday, in #Ankara, #Berlin and #Zurich.  As more details emerge, the Note will update.

In Berlin, there were chaotic scenes as a truck ran into a number of pedestrians at a Christmas market, raising echoes of the Nice attack this past summer. Details are still emerging.

In Zurich, three people were wounded in a shooting incident at an Islamic center. Again, details are sketchy, with some outlets describing the scene as an “ongoing situation.”
