As usual Trump made a threat (tariffs on Mexico) that he couldn’t fulfill (Congress was going to block him) and so he had no leverage with Mexico.
Mexico knew this, so they just committed to do things they were already doing. No breakthrough. No way to judge if they make good.

Who'd be a politician? They get pilloried for saying the most exciting thing they've done is run through a field of wheat, they get pilloried for snorting cocaine off a dwarf's head.

For the addicted kids we see in court, a drugs conviction is serious business.
For society, the market perpetuates violence and exploitation.
But for some, it’s simply a political skeleton to kick out the cupboard before it falls out.
And *that* is what privilege looks like.

This is unreal.
Right now in South Texas it’s 104°F with a dewpoint of 80°F.
That’s a heat index of 130°F.
In June.
Folks, it’s technically still spring. It’s not even summer for another 13 days.
