šØšØ IOWA POLL: Donald Trump has taken over the lead as Joe Biden fades
— Brianne Pfannenstiel (@brianneDMR) October 31, 2020
Trump: 48%
Biden: 41%
Someone else: 3%
Not sure: 2%
Wonāt say: 5%
The two candidates were tied at 47% to 47% in September.
MOE: +/- 3.4% https://t.co/0CcpU32GDn via @DMRegister
Certainly Trump's best result in a high-quality poll in a while. We have gotten/will get lots more high-quality polls though and there haven't been many others with results like this. https://t.co/eSgsuL01wZ

a) The DMR poll is an outlier.
b) Iowa is an outlier.
c) Almost every poll in almost every other state, and almost every national poll, are outliers.
Needless to say, a) or b) are MUCH more likely than c).
Still: You may want a stiff drink to settle your nerves.
Folks. As I have said look at all the polls. Not just one. There were 20 polls around the country at same time as Iowa poll. One was favorable to trump. 19 were favorable to Biden. Look at the averages. And this one as far as I can tell is huge outlier.

Joni Ernst has embraced President Trump, and it's been an open question whether that would help or hurt her. But this poll seems to suggest her messaging to that group of voters has been effective. https://t.co/TSDp03BS3n

Gather round kids, and learn how America was turned into a slaughterhouse where your grandma dies alone on Zoom because the GOP refused to impeach the first traitor ever to steal the White House with Russian aid as his former underwear-model wife mocked kids in cages. Again: Trump's comments today about the Supreme Court are going viral out of context. Trump was sarcastically thanking the Court for supposedly delaying the announcement of a winner (this is ridiculous, but anyway), *not* saying the Court would hand him the win.

It is extremely difficult for me to understand how Trump is even competitive in this election. Actually, it is frightening. Trump is tested. He is known. He is the most incompetent POTUS is modern America. He is a threat to America. How can voters not understand this basic fact?

The UK into a second lockdown. A huge u-turn, which is deeply uncomfortable for PM, but with the NHS on the brink he had little choice. Four weeks of lockdown but no guarantee restrictions can be lifted come Dec 2. Will it prove too little too late? pic.twitter.com/fxUCxToNgu

Weāre evidently facing a grave national crisis, which means concentrating on this and nothing else. In other words, just do a Brexit deal, now. And stop wasting a single minute thinking about dismembering the BBC. One thing at a time.
