Breaking News: Attorney General William Barr said that the Justice Department hasn’t uncovered voting fraud at a scale that could have changed the results of the 2020 election. https://t.co/58rhJxArsR

Ron Johnson said the attorney general should “show everybody” his evidence about no mass fraud because “there’s enough suspicions” and “irregularities” there

Asked if he's not satisfied with Barr's conclusion, Johnson added: "I think there is still enough questions outstanding”
Lou Dobbs absolutely loses it over Bill Barr saying there's no evidence of widespread voter fraud, accusing Barr of joining "the Deep State and the Resistance" before saying this:

Seems like Rudy and Ellis should sue Barr and DOJ! And since Rudy and Ellis are the Trump campaign lawyers, and Barr is the Trump Administration lawyer, the case might be called Trump v Trump. Which would be a fitting end to the whole circus. https://t.co/d2XB1cgKPZ

Rudy Giuliani has gone out of his way to do Trump's bidding, including trying to overturn the 2020 election results. But his motivations may be more about self-preservation than anything else, Peter Stone reports. https://t.co/eMbiagl7dv

Trump associates are making appeals to Trump in hopes of obtaining pardons before he leaves office, we've confirmed. Those associates include Giuliani, we're told. Source familiar with the matter said the pardons being sought are "blanket" as associates fear incoming Biden admin.

Dems reach a deal with Rs that substantially moves toward low stimulus McConnell wants.
— Greg Sargent (@ThePlumLineGS) December 1, 2020
McConnell nixes it and sticks to his bottom line.
Is there any point in trying to deal under such conditions?
I talked to @AJentleson about this. No easy answers:https://t.co/GxxW68FcRe
McConnell’s ploy — refusing to pass pandemic relief unless he gets a COVID-liability shield for businesses — is one of the most disgraceful in modern political history.

I hear from hundreds, sometimes thousands, of Trump supporters every day. Because of what the President is doing, people could get hurt and people could get killed.
— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) December 1, 2020
Donald Trump is inciting violence. The threat of violence is real.
Trump didn’t just prime his audience to be receptive to false narratives of voter fraud, he inspired them to produce those narratives (eg Sharpiegate, suitcases of votes, observers denied, etc.) and then echoed those false claims back to them. Participatory disinformation.

Per my NBC News colleagues: Trump may announce for 2024 on inauguration day. Either way, he won't attend the inauguration and does not plan to invite Biden to the White House or even call him.
— Ken Dilanian (@KenDilanianNBC) December 1, 2020
Let’s see if Mike Pence actually has one molecule of class and patriotism left in him that would lead him to attend the inauguration without Trump.

Ok, another crunch week (one of many). Here are my latest thoughts on the state of play.
— Tony Connelly (@tconnellyRTE) December 1, 2020
The big issues now are: how long can the talks go on, what impact will the upcoming Finance Bill have, and will an averted Covid rebellion free Boris Johnson's hand in going for a deal.
The way I see it is this. Many voted for Brexit for many reasons including migration. But most didn’t vote to lose their jobs or be poorer. They voted for a vision of sunlit uplands. Those are evaporating and some but not all will see the betrayal. Brexit is substantially a lie.
— Shown (@northernlad18) December 1, 2020
The window for Boris Johnson getting a Brexit deal appears to be AFTER his backbenchers calm down over Covid restrictions & BEFORE the publication of the Taxation Bill (which will be seen by the EU as reneging on the Northern Ireland Protocol & an act of bad faith). That's tight.

1. Clear trajectory for Irish union given border questions
2. You can’t say to Scotland ‘Economic harm’ if you’ve bulldozed Brexit through arguing the sovereignty is more important than economic benefits
