BREAKING: Biden told Netanyahu he supports a ceasefire in Gaza, White House says
— Barak Ravid (@BarakRavid) May 17, 2021
President Biden expressed support for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas on Monday in a call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, but fell short of demanding an immediate end to the violence. https://t.co/SdVCqei206

Except he's not. He says were there to be a ceasefire he'll support it. But he's not expressly calling for a ceasefire. And indeed, he blocked a UN Security Council effort to call for one only this afternoon.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court agrees to take up a major abortion case that will give the court an opportunity to reconsider Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The case involves the constitutionality of Mississippi’s ban on most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

There is no split in the lower courts over a state's ability to ban abortion at 15 weeks (or earlier). Even conservative judges recognize that Roe and Casey prohibit total bans on abortion before viability. It seems likely that the Supreme Court took this case to change the rule.
